International Design Guild (IDG), the luxury division of CCA Global the nation’s largest flooring cooperative, today kicked-off its 2014 Summit at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. To begin this year’s festivities, IDG hosted an upscale Black & White Party to premiere its Design for a Difference makeover video as well as to celebrate the many successes of 2013.
According to IDG President, Krista Eliason, “Last year, we outlined strategies that would allow us to rise about the competition and we invested in innovative programs to enable us to dominate the luxury space in our industry. And, our members delivered by meeting and exceeding expectations. This year’s Summit is all about celebrating their accomplishments.”
At the Summit, IDG revealed that it will launch its 2014 Design for a Difference, that benefits local charities, builds designer loyalty and increase awareness of local IDG showrooms. The Grand Prize winner will be awarded $25,000 to revitalize a nonprofit’s workspace. “It is truly remarkable the way in which so many of our members participated in the Design for a Difference contest this past year to give back to their communities in a profound way. We can’t wait to inspire more designers to participate in this year’s contest,” said Eliason.
Building upon the foundation outlined in 2014, IDG will highlight the success of its comprehensive digital marketing strategy and focus on the evolution of the program in 2014. The strategy remains to leverage best-in-class technology to provide localized websites, syndicated social media content and personalized designer profiles. “With our holistic marketing approach, IDG members drove traffic to their showrooms and engaged with designers & design savvy consumers on a new level,” said Eliason. This approach allowed members to truly differentiate themselves in their respective markets and we plan to capitalize on this formula for success over the next year,” said Eliason.
IDG will continue to enhance its IDG Designer program in 2014. By joining the program, designers have their own websites and intranets. In addition, designers can gain access to IDG’s exclusive business programs, CEU credited courses, private sales and special promotions. New to the 2014 program is the opportunity for designers to create their very own microsites to promote their businesses.
In addition, IDG will discuss the success of its main street product programs last year and provide insight on how members can continue to leverage these programs to drive sales and remain profitable. IDG will also unveil several exclusive product programs to members at the Summit.
Eliason concludes, “Our members achieved tremendous success last year. For the first time since the recession, members have seen steady growth. The executive team at IDG is committed to outlining a vision that will allow members to continue to grow their businesses.”
