CCA For Social Good, an operating division of CCA Global Partners, along with Child Care Resources Inc., Child Care Services Association, and Southwestern Child Development Commission announce the launch of NCecesharedresources.org, an online platform that delivers a wealth of practical resources for early childhood education directors, family care providers, and teachers. Its goal is clear: to help save time, reduce costs, and improve quality. Most simply, the platform helps its users manage their programs more efficiently.
Sponsored by Child Care Resources Inc., Child Care Services Association, and Southwestern Child Development Commission, NCecesharedresources.org is now available to child care providers throughout the state. These sponsors have a long history of close collaboration and are leading private, nonprofit child care resource and referral organizations located in different parts of the state that work with early educators, program administrators, stakeholders, and communities to advance and support a system of high quality early care and education (ECE) across North Carolina.
“Prior to NCecesharedresources.org, child care directors in North Carolina regularly spent a considerable amount of time researching the complexities of a given early childhood education (ECE) topic, scouring the web for a resource, and creating a branded manual or flyer on their own,” stated Janet Singerman, President of Child Care Resources Inc. “Now, all of that information is housed in one location, with much information that is also specific to North Carolina guidelines. Across the country, child care directors find the program admin guides, handbooks, and policies tremendously valuable, and other staff have also praised the teacher and classroom resources, including the literacy resources, and event templates. Most importantly, these tools are downloadable templates (all in Microsoft Word or Excel) that can be customized to reflect each organization’s name, branding and content specific to their child care center saving valuable time and increasing professionalism and quality in the sector.”
“In keeping with the shared services movement in the ECE field, NCecesharedresources.org is one of thirty states that sponsor ECE shared resources platforms managed by CCA For Social Good,” explained Denise Sayer, Vice President of CCA For Social Good. “The online knowledge hub we provide allows users to share pragmatic resources, save money because of the collective buying power of ECE centers, and simplify management functions so child care programs can spend less time solving problems and managing administrative details and more of their time where it counts the most, face-to-face with the children.”
The site can be accessed by visiting NCecesharedresources.org. Interested parties in North Carolina can fill out a New Member Request form by clicking on “Interested in Learning More?” upon visiting the site.
