Holiday Celebrations at CCA

Working at CCA, Who We Are CCA Global Partners

Although we can't all be in the offices this year to celebrate the holidays together, CCA Global Partner's employees still found creative ways to get in the holiday spirit, with holiday gift exchanges, virtual parties and photo contests.

This holiday season may look a bit different from past years, but that hasn’t stopped us from celebrating here at CCA Global Partners. While in the past, our St. Louis and Manchester offices toast to the new year with their annual holiday parties, we’ll have to settle for virtual festivities and fun festive slideshows this season.

In the spirit of holiday celebrations, our wonderful HR team set up a photo contest where all employees were able to enter by submitting some of their favorite photos of them finding joy during these crazy times.

Those staff members were then entered into a drawing where they had the chance to win various gifts from a coffee maker to an Amazon Echo to gift cards galore.

Some of the best holiday-festive photo submissions included:

Bailey and Teddy in their Christmas get-ups from Meagan Shank, Carpet One Floor & Home

Rosemarie Kroscher (of CCA Global Partners in St. Louis, Mo) and family at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX

From Kellie Carvalho at CCA Global Partners in Manchester, NH

Bridgett Haberstroh (of CCA Global Partners in St. Louis, MO) with her family

On top of the photo contest, many of our divisions had holiday celebrations of their own, including CCA University which had their own Secret Snowman gift exchange. A volunteer from another division picked names for the University employees and each team member mailed their packages in time for their holiday Zoom call on December 18 where they had to guess who their gift came from.

Our Carpet One Floor & Home division had a virtual Ugly Sweater Contest during the last staff meeting before the holiday break. Each participant was asked to model their “ugly sweater” and share it’s story while a team of secret judges took notes on the best sweaters. After the meeting, finalists were announced and a poll was sent to everyone to vote for their favorite ugly sweater.

This year’s Ugly Sweater Contest had two winners: Scott Carter and Jen Renna. Scott showed off a lovely Christmas cape (which might remind some of a Christmas tree skirt) decked out in red and green with a gold holly trim. Jen went a different route with her green festive sunglasses and an ugly sweater-themed virtual background.

The retail marketing employees also had their own virtual holiday party, celebrating with a round of holiday trivia that tested the team's knowledge of holiday movies, holiday music and more. This year’s trivia winner was Chris Reynolds.

To top off the celebrations, CCA Global Partners raised $2,760 in cash and gifts for FIT/New Horizons in order to bring comfort and solace to many families experiencing difficulties above and beyond during this extraordinary year.
