CCA Global Partners Donates Office Supplies to Local Nonprofits

Who We Are CCA Global Partners

How can you give back to your community? This holiday season, we take a look at the ways in which CCA employees and staff have contributed to their local non-profits.

With the holiday season already upon us, it is more important than ever to support our local community non-profits with donations, volunteers, and time. The smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference this holiday season, whether that’s by donating office supplies to non-profit organizations or providing Families in Transition with unused dishware, utensils and toiletries.

At CCA Global Partners, we are fortunate enough to have been able to donate extra resources in these ways and will continue to have donation opportunities available throughout this holiday season at both of our locations in Manchester and St. Louis.

As a cooperative, we know that small businesses, nonprofits, and the surrounding people are what make up a strong community. CCA has long been committed to the local communities that our offices are a part of and we welcome opportunities to lend a helping hand where needed and give back to the community. As Manchester’s Office Manager, Maureen Heaney, has been a key part of these initiatives in the Manchester, New Hampshire area. Having devoted hours through her outreach, Maureen finds nonprofits in need of donations and sets up drives from the CCA Manchester office to local nonprofits.

One of CCA’s more frequent partnerships is with the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester. With the help of some CCA team members, Maureen collected a truck load’s worth of easels, whiteboards, giant post-it notes, and more to donate.

When CCA was taking on a floor remodeling project in our Manchester office, Maureen took the leftover tile from the project to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester. The tile donation was around three hundred tiles that the organization was welcomed to use however they needed it. Not only did Maureen coordinate the donation of the surplus tile, but she also helped set up the installation services for them. Deans Carpet One Floor & Home store in Manchester donated their time and installation services to place the tile for the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester.

“It was great that we were not only able to give them the tile and work with the Carpet One in Manchester for the installation,” Maureen stated. “But we were also able to provide them with the adhesive for the tile. We were able to get everything set for them so they didn’t need to worry about anything, which is just a great feeling.”

Maureen has worked with other local nonprofits to send CCA’s surplus office supplies to, including the Palace Theater, a nonprofit performing arts center. When the Palace Theater was undergoing expansion, CCA Global Partners provided café tables and chairs for them to use in their offices and communal spaces.

Now, with the holiday season upon us, Maureen has set up CCA's annual Giving Tree in the Manchester office where employees and staff members can donate to Families in Transition, a local non-profit that supports families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness.

"It's important that we are there for our Manchester community because we are all in this together," Maureen said.
