With the momentum gained from a successful inaugural year, the CCA Global Partners Retail Group announces the return of its Summer Regional Meetings for a second edition, scheduled from May to October 2024. These meetings provide an invaluable platform for Carpet One Floor & Home, Flooring America, Flooring Canada, and the International Design Guild members to come together, fostering collaboration, idea exchange, and insights from peers and CCA staff.

These smaller, more focused gatherings offer members the chance to discuss shared challenges and find solutions to propel their businesses forward. Providing members with the opportunity to engage in productive discussions and form strong relationships with their peers, the Summer Regional Meetings aims to stay ahead of the ever-changing business landscape.

The agenda for this year’s meetings includes regional-focused networking, conversations with vendors, vendor-sponsored events, new marketing and merchandising initiatives, and member-selected topic presentations and best practice shares. These gatherings allow members to speak with like-minded peers, seeking to maximize every opportunity for them to leverage the powerful new Retail 2.0 showroom retrofits installed in their stores over the last year.

Carpet One Floor & Home kicked off its first meeting in Austin, Texas, on May 1st. Additional locations include Newport Beach, California; Nashville, Tennessee; Coeur D’Alene, Idaho; Boston, Massachusetts; Indianapolis, Indiana; Vancouver, British Columbia; and Ottawa, Ontario. With six meetings in the U.S. and two in Canada, Carpet One anticipates building upon the previous year’s achievements.

“Following the positive response to our first Summer Regional Meetings, we’re thrilled to gear up for our second year,” stated John Gilbert, President of Carpet One Floor & Home. “These meetings provide a unique platform for our team to connect with our members personally, fostering meaningful engagement and strengthening relationships. We extend our sincere gratitude to our regional coordinators for their efforts in helping to plan these important gatherings. We have all kinds of cool, new events on the agenda, and we’re looking forward to coming together so our members can share insights and collaborate on strategic initiatives that will only continue to help them navigate the ever-evolving consumer landscape effectively.”

Similarly, Flooring America and Flooring Canada will begin their series of meetings in June in Newport Beach, California, with further meetings to follow in Nashville, Tennessee; Boston, Massachusetts; and Ottawa, Ontario. Likewise, the International Design Guild will meet in Indianapolis, Indiana, in August.

“This year, we will continue to prioritize fostering hands-on engagement and direct interaction with our members,” expressed Keith Spano, President of Flooring America, Flooring Canada, International Design Guild, and The Floor Trader. “As we look ahead, our focus remains on deepening member connections and empowering them with innovative strategies to elevate their business in a challenging business climate. MANCHESTER, NH (January 30, 2023) – International Design Guild (IDG) leaders and members will gather in Las Vegas today and tomorrow for “United By Design,” its yearly Summit focused on arming members with tools, knowledge, and products to continue to thrive in the current marketplace. Member-led discussions, ample networking opportunities, digital marketing, and business diversification highlight the annual meeting of CCA Global’s luxury showroom collective.

Ahead of Summit 2023, IDG also announced its continued expansion with five new showrooms recently added to the membership collective. The members will be announced at Summit 2023.

“This year’s theme, ‘United By Design,’ is infused throughout our agenda for our annual meeting. Our mission is for members to bring their collective wisdom and shared experiences to each other with a shared goal to improve the businesses and lives of our membership and the strength of our group,” said Keith Spano, President of Flooring America, Flooring Canada, IDG and The Floor Trader. “We’ll accomplish this by incorporating member-led panels and discussions to share best practices about issues that are top-of-mind for membership as they head into 2023, including diversifying business, hiring and staffing concerns, and keeping pace with digital marketing.”

The team at IDG has planned a jam-packed agenda, including keynote speaker Economist Connor Lokar. Digital Marketing. The increasing role of online presence and customer reviews for businesses will be examined, along with an overview of digital marketing services that are provided with IDG membership.

Staffing and Installation Solutions. Finding (and retaining) top sales associates, design team members, and installers continues to be one of the most challenging issues owners face in today’s work environment. Summit will share new solutions and resources available to members, including the appointment of an in-house installation consultant and a hiring and recruiting assistance program.

Built-In Networking. Network and engagement are increasingly vital to membership, so Summit’s agenda is filled with built-in time for networking.
