Innovative web-based knowledge hub for ECE professionals provides thousands of practical resources helping ECE providers save time, money and advance quality.
Manchester, NH – CCA For Social Good, an operating division of CCA Global Partners, and The Children’s Cabinet announce the launch of the virtual Nevada Strong Start Child Care Services Center (NevadaCCSC.org), an online platform focused on innovative solutions supporting early childhood educators. This investment will provide a wealth of solutions that will increase high-quality business practices, reduce costs to address financial challenges, and provide services to strengthen the recruitment and retention needs of the industry.
Sponsored by The Children’s Cabinet with funding from the Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, the virtual CCSC is available to all Nevada child care providers. This online platform will provide access to over 2,600 innovative and practical tools, handbooks, policies, and guidance on essential topics such as financial management, human resource supports, emergency preparedness, marketing, nutrition, health and safety, and more. Users will also have access to post open positions for their businesses on a statewide job board and popular sites such as Indeed and Google Jobs.
“Here at The Children’s Cabinet, we recognize the importance of the early childhood education field and how it impacts our communities, families, and economy statewide. Partnering with CCA for Social Good and providing child care programs throughout the state of Nevada, these unique and wonderful tools will prove to be worth the resources it took to get here,” said Kim Young, Children’s Cabinet Chief Executive Officer. “We’re proud to have Nevada’s child care network be a part of this mission to help improve the lives of not only the families they serve but themselves as educators and leaders.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome Nevada to our growing network of 34 states sponsoring a customized shared resources knowledge hub. More importantly, we are honored to be part of Nevada’s statewide strategy to strengthen the business of child care. As a result of our collaboration, the Nevada child care community has immediate access to an abundance of editable documents and resources to help with everyday administrative and operational needs related to operating a high quality child care business,” said Denise Sayer, Vice President of CCA for Social Good. “As we continue to work closely with The Children’s Cabinet, we understand the importance of a stable, strong child care community and its direct impact on economic stability within communities. That is why our priorities will continue to support operational practices that strengthen fiscal sustainability, staff recruitment, retention, and wellbeing and other administrative practices. I am excited about our work supporting The Children’s Cabinet and look forward to the success of NevadaCCSC.org in supporting child care directors, teaching staff, technical assistance specialists, and others working to stabilize the business of high quality child care.”
